Third International Conference on Asian Studies 2015

Third International Conference on Asian Studies 2015 (ICAS 2015) was conducted International University of Japan (IUJ) together with the Association of Sri Lankan Academics in Japan, International Center for Research & Development, and Sri Lanka Embassy in Japan in International University of Japan, Niigata, Japan. The aim of this conference is Challenges of Development in the 21st Century: Asian Perspectives. Its outcomes are as follows;

・Enhance your knowledge on development challenges in the 21st century
・Deepen awareness of Asian perspectives and approaches for developmental needs of the present context.
・Opportunity to clarify your concerns with panel of academic experts and development consultants
  Opportunity to meet renowned diplomats and board of academic experts and researchers
・Recognition of your work on international platform as a participant or paper/poster presenter.
・All accepted abstract/full papers will be published in the conference proceedings both print and online version
・Identify your future collaborative partner among international, vibrant and scholarly audience.

On this conference, there are 59 international students from different Asian countries who attending in Doctoral programs. They presented their research topic in relative fields; Business Opportunities, International Relations & Politics, Migration & Diaspora, South East Asia I, II, Central Asia, Civil Society in Asia and Japanese Studies. Students got chances from this conference advice, comments and feedback from attendee. In effects, those feedbacks and comments were beneficial for their research and the presenters could exchange and know the different perspectives from most Asian countries. Moreover, audience could approach to their studies and exchanged their outlooks with presenters. More remarkably, ICAS, 2015 were to be able to picture for exchanging and experiencing of Asian countries' development.
